How is your life going on? I will share information about Kahoot today. It is a funny way of engaging in English.

Kahoot is a website that makes the repetition of the topics covered in the lessons more enjoyable thanks to the joint use of components such as mobile phones, computers, tablets and smart boards. The aim here is to learn in a fun way and to reinforce the course contents. You can find many lessons and content on the site, as well as prepare and use a repeat exam if you want. In short, it is an interactive online quiz system.

How to Play? 

There are some questions and students participate in the competition with the names they want. In order to win, you must give the right answer and you must be the fastest competitor.

Socrative

Hello everyone, 

Socrative is an online test application that can be applied simultaneously inside or outside the classroom. When the test is over, you can get instant reports based on class, student or question. An application called Socrative Student and Socrative Teacher can be used in two different ways. 

The student does not need to be a member in the Socrative Student application. A student who opens the Socrative application with a mobile phone, tablet, computer, etc. needs only the room number given by the teacher. After the student enters the room, he can answer the questions as soon as the teacher starts the test.

The Socrative Teacher is the platform where the teacher will prepare his questions and apply the test. Three different types of questions can be prepared as multiple choice, true-false and short-answer questions.

Blackboard provides a space to provide information about courses, assignments, and exams in multiple places.

Moodle is an open source learning management system that is widely used around the world. Moodle, which sets out from the concept of Flexible Object Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment, consists of the initials of the English words Modular-Object-Oriented-Dynamic-Learning-Environment.

It is an online course management system that is written to be integrated into education systems and has the features that can fulfill most of the activities that may be needed on the distance education site. Moodle can be used easily by everyone.

Today, I will introduce you Edmodo. Edmodo is a "social learning platform" site for teachers, students and parents. With Edmodo, teachers invite students by creating online classes. Group code is given, all students are enrolled and their parents can follow the students.

It is suitable for all age levels who actively use the computer and the internet. It is free. You can log in for browser and mobile application from your computer, smartphone and tablet.

Activities can be held in small groups by creating different structures in the classroom.

File and folder sharing can be done.

The deadline for entry can be set for Homework, Surveys and Quizzes.

It is possible to message with different users.

I hope everything in your life is fine. Today I am with you with a new topic. I am going to tell you about 21 st Century Skills. Technology is changing our world. Routine knowledge and skills are being renewed. So what are these skills? They are skills such as collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, information literacy. All of these are important to improve teaching styles. I chose creativity to tell you.

Creativity is the use of imagination and original ideas to create different things. Improving creativity and creative-thinking skill has immense practical benefits for both teachers and students.

Creativity promotes well-being and happiness. People who have the opportunity to express their creativity, learn in an easier and more enjoyable way. Students can learn how to be creative by solving problems, creating systems, or just trying something they haven’t tried before.As a student learns about their creativity, they also learn how to express it in healthy and productive ways. 

So are there any ways to improve creativity? Of course, yes. I listed some of the ways you can use to improve creativity. They are:
